Financial Information
In fiscal year 2010, CPO distributed 1,106 tons of groceries to feed hungry families. 77% of the groceries that we distributed was donated. The food that we distributed came from the following sources:
- 40% was donated by the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle.
- 30% was from the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC (17% donated,13% purchased).
- 14% was received from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's TEFAP Program.
- 10% was purchased through retail and wholesale sources.
- 5% was donated through CPO's "Feed A Family" Food Drives.
- 1% was donated by individuals and businesses.

Budget Breakdown
CPO's budget breakdown for fiscal year 2010, which ended in June 2010, includes in-kind contributions and volunteer services. In-kind contributions were valued based on data from:
- Feeding America (1 lb of donated groceries is valued at $1.49 wholesale.)
- Catholic Charities (1 hour of volunteer time is valued at $10.80.)
- Salvation Army (clothes valuation)
